K-ON! (TV)

"It's Yui Hirasawa's first year in high school, and she's eagerly searching for a club to join. At the same time, Ritsu Tainaka, a drummer, and her friend Mio Akiyama, a bassist, are desperately trying to save the school's light music club, which is about to be disbanded due to lack of members. They manage to recruit Tsumugi Kotobuki to play the keyboard, meaning they only need one more member to get the club running again. Yui joins, thinking it will be an easy experience for her to play the castanets, the only instrument she knows. However, the other members think their new addition is actually a guitar prodigy... " - ANN

K-ON! is a Japanese Anime series based on a modern high school setting. The story follows through the lives of three high school girls who love music and wish to revive the near dead Light Music Club in their school which will be disbanded if they do not have a minimum of four club members.

The story of K-ON! has a very unique approach as it does not have much of an emphasis on individual character story arc. Instead, it focuses on the overall story of the band, as a whole.

Similar to other Japanese Anime series such as Lucky Star and Minami-keK-ON! features the girls' slice of life such as the usual girl talk, tea party, picnic at the park, summer fun at the beach and christmas celebration.

Critic Score Remarks
Appeal 8.0  Cute girls in high school uniform with
 musical instruments.
Visual 8.0  Creative comical visual effects.
 Detailed musical instrument artwork.
Sound 10  Wonderful voice acting.
 Awe-inspiring rock music.
Story 9.5  Uniquely crafted story setting with a
good mixture of suspense and humor.
Overall
(out of 10)
8.8  Excellent

The final review score does not determine whether this is a good Anime or not. After all, it is up to you as a viewer, to decide whether you want to invest your time watching this Japanese Anime series. Last but not least, we have come to the end another detailed Japanese Anime review article. PSP-3000 vs PSPgo

More than one week have passed ever since the release of the Sony PSPgo. I believe many people are in a dilemma of whether to get a PSP-3000 or a PSPgo so this guide will help you make your decision.

I have designed a simplified comparison chart between the two systems and comparing between the most important features instead of technical specifications which does not really affect your usage as both system are compact enough to be brought out.

Critic PSP-3000 PSPgo
 Removable Battery Yes No
 Internal Memory --- 16GB (Flash)
 Memory Expansion 8GB (MSPD) 16GB (M2)
Play Games from UMD Drive Yes No
 PlayStation Network Store Yes Yes
 Web Browser Yes Yes
 Video Yes Yes
 Music Yes Yes
 Photo Yes Yes

The downside of the PSPgo is that the battery cannot be removed or replaced. That which means you can only play as much as you charged. Once the battery goes flat while you are on the road, you have to wait till you reach home to recharge the device.

As for the PSP-3000, you can always carry a spare battery in your bag and replace the battery whenever it goes flat. How convenient!

For existing PSP owners who already have a grand library of UMD Games, it is not recommended for you to get the PSPgo as you have to re-purchase all of the games that you wish to play on the PSPgo from the PlayStation Network Store. That which will cost you double.

For new PSP buyers, you have to think thrice before buying a PSPgo as all of your games will be in digital format. That which means you cant sell them off to 2nd hand game buyers or even loan games from your friends.

In conclusion, it is up to you as the buyer to decide which system to get as this article is not biased towards any one of the systems as stated above. Last but not least, we have come to the end of another Product Review article. Thanks for reading and do check back from time to time for the latest news and updates from Project JeForceX!

Shuffle! (TV)

"When two doors are discovered in an ancient ruin, the gateways to shinkai, the realm of the shinzoku (Gods) and makai, the realm of the mazoku (Demons) are irreversably opened. The races of human, shinzoku, and mazoku come together in the mortal world and nothing will ever be the same. One day, two new families move next door to a boy who had previously been living a very peaceful life.

In one house lived the family of the King of the Gods, and in the other lived the family of the King of the Demons. Both families had one daughter whose single wish to live next to the boy they had fallen in love with years ago has just been fulfilled. Also living with the boy is his childhood friend. With these three girls vying for his affections, the boy finds that his new life filled with despair, jealousy, and just a little hope is beginning." - ANN

For the first time in the history books of Project JeForceX, this Japanese Anime review article will be written in full detail as stated in Project JeForceX - Update v2.2 but it does take cost me quite a lot of time composing just one of these articles. Alright, enough is enough. Now let us get to the main point shall we?

Shuffle! is a love and romance Japanese Anime series based on a modern society setting. This Anime is a little bit perverted as it uses references to outrage of modesty, bra, breasts, upskirt and panties. The male lead is an incredibly attractive guy who is so attractive that all the female characters in the story fell in love and surround him all day long. Kind of unrealistic but I guess this is what the story writer wants us to see.

The good thing about this Anime is that almost every single female character in the story are good looking, sport a unique hair color and have sweet voices that will make you go wild or even make you fall in love with them.

The bad thing about this Anime is the stagnant camera views that just flashes from one corner to the other, scrolling from one end to the other or even sits still in one fixed angle like a pin-hole spy camera for voyeurism.

Critic Score Remarks
Appeal 9.0  Young pretty girls in seductive
 school uniform.
Visual 9.0  Beautiful character, environmental and
 prop design.
Sound 10  Amazing voice acting.
 Wonderful music and sound tracks.
Story 9.0  Unique story setting.
 Surprisingly unexpected ending.
Overall
(out of 10)
9.2  Excellent

The final review score does not determine whether this is a good Anime or not. After all, it is up to you as a viewer, to decide whether you want to invest your time watching this Japanese Anime series.
